Job Purpose
The Lubricants Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, managing
distributor and customer relationships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring
achievement of sales and profitability targets for lubricants products within the assigned
territory.
Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, and margin
targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share within the assigned
territory.
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors, workshops, fleets, industries, and
retail customers.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor customer activity and competitor
performance.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
Distributor and Channel Management
• Support distributors and resellers in achieving agreed sales targets.
• Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure product availability.
• Conduct joint market activities and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, pricing, and branding guidelines.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers where required.
Reporting and Market Intelligence
• Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Provide recommendations for business growth and product positioning.

Person Specification
Education, Training,
Skills & Experience
Professional Experience
• Minimum 4–6 years of sales experience in lubricants, FMCG, oil and gas, or related
industries.
• Experience in Territory Management and Distributor Management.
• Strong understanding of lubricants products and market dynamics is an added
advantage.
Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related
field.
• Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems.
• Valid driving permit is a mandatory requirement.
