Position:
Content & Social Media Coordinator
The Content and Social Media Coordinator Volunteer works alongside the Digital Communications Assistant to close a critical gap in Nyaka’s digital presence. You will support the planning, creation, management, distribution, and performance analysis of Nyaka’s digital content and social media platforms, ensuring consistent storytelling, brand alignment, audience engagement, and visibility across all programme pillars.

Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in digital content creation, social media management, or a related communications role, preferably within the nonprofit or development sector.
- Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools, including Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics 4.
Competencies:
- Outstanding photography, videography, and video editing skills, with proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent software.
- Advanced proficiency in Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
Illustrator) is an added advantage. - Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to create platform-specific and audience-sensitive content.
