Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group of Companies and is the leading producer of mill white Sugar in the Country. It’s located at 45kms on Kampala – Jinja Highway, just within the vicinity of Lugazi Municipal Council, Buikwe District.
We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified person to fill the following position.
1) Deputy/Assistant Manager workshop for Heavy Equipment section.
Qualification: Degree / diploma in automobile engineering with minimum 8-10 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of heavy Equipment’s like Wheel loaders, Bucket loaders, Cane Stackers, Excavator, Graders, Soil Compactors, JCB / Bull Backhoe, Experience in Generator maintenance etc.
2) Head mechanic for Heavy Equipment section.
Qualifications: Diploma / Advanced Certificate in automobile engineering with 7-8 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of heavy machines & hydraulics.
3) Head mechanic for Truck Section.
Qualifications: Diploma / Advanced Certificate in automobile engineering with 7-8 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of TATA trucks.
4) Head mechanic for Passenger vehicles section.
Qualifications: Diploma / Advanced Certificate in automobile engineering with 7-8 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of TOYOTA vehicles (Double Cabin Pick-ups, Premio CARS, Land Cruiser / PRADO etc.), Motorcycles like TVS / BAJAJI / YAMAHA, and GOLF Carts etc.
5) Maintenance officer for Cane Haulage Sections.
Qualifications: Diploma / Advanced Certificate in automobile engineering with 8-10 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of NEW Holland Tractors, Cane Haulage Trailers, Cane loading machines like CAMECO / JOHN DEERE / BELL /
UTTAM, Pulling winches.
6) Mechanic for Cane Haulage Sections.
Qualifications: Diploma / Advanced Certificate in automobile engineering with 5-7 years of hand on experience in repair & maintenance of NEW Holland Tractors, Cane Haulage Trailers, Cane loading machines like CAMECO / JOHN DEERE / BELL /
UTTAM, Pulling winches.
7) Electrical Fitter.
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2-3 years in Electrical fitting and maintenance of motors.
8) Water Treatment Plant Operator Trainee.
Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Chemistry or Science Technology Chemistry.
Experience: 1-2years in Water Treatment.
Must have knowledge about Boiler Analysis, Water
Parameters, Cooling Tower parameters and Raw water parameters.
Remunerations: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
