Uganda Batteries is seeking dedicated and motivated candidates to join our team as Production Manager – Recycling and Procurement Manager. Preferred candidates should have experience in manufacturing, recycling operations with a proven track record of leading teams in production environments.
Production Manager – Recycling plant
The position oversees the recycling plant operations to ensure efficient production, quality, cost control, and compliance.
Key Deliverables include.
- Deliver target tonnage of recycled materials
- Smelting & refining process efficiency
- Cost control and yield optimization
- Equipment reliability & maintenance
- Battery scrap supply and input quality
- Health, safety & environment compliance
- Continuous improvement & process optimization
- Data drive decisions
The suitable candidate should have a Degree in Chemical Engineering/Industrial Chemistry/ Production Engineering or related field with over 6 years’ experience and 3 at a managerial level
