BANK OF UGANDA
The Bank of Uganda is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Internship Program are now open.
The programme will comprise three (3) intakes, each lasting one (1) month, to be conducted in June, July, and August 2026.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online via the Bank of Uganda website using the link below:

Each application should be accompanied by the following documents:
- A cover letter
- A recent certified academic transcript/testimonial (indicating full results for the first and second year)
- A signed off introductory letter from the applicant’s institution of study
Selection into the programme will be based on:
- Academic merit (minimum CGPA of 3.6)
- Proof of continuing student status
- Relevance of the applicant’s course to Bank of Uganda operations
- First-come, first-served basis, among other considerations

The deadline for submission of applications is close of business Friday, 8 May 2026.
