Direct Sales Representatives (All Regions)

Reporting to the Team Leader- DSR, the role holder will be responsible for driving customer acquisition through direct selling of the Bank’s financial products—predominantly loan/asset products and deposit accounts. The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets, delivering quality customer service, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s processes, standards, and policies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Actively promote and sell the Bank’s loan and asset products, as well as account openings.
  • Identify sales opportunities and build relationships with prospective clients to grow the Bank’s customer base.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets set by the Bank.
  • Strictly comply with all policies, instructions, and operational guidelines issued by dfcu Bank.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales conversions.
  • Provide timely updates, explanations, and activity reports to the Team Leader or any designated authority within dfcu Bank.
  • Cooperate fully in responding to requests for information or clarification from internal stakeholders.
  • Carry out any additional duties, projects, or special assignments commensurate with your skills, as may be assigned by the Bank.
  • Work collaboratively when assigned to joint tasks with other DSRs or sales teams.
  • Be open to redeployment within roles or assignments in dfcu Bank that align with your competencies and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • One year of a Professional work experience with at least six months in a Banking Industry.
  • Previous experience in direct sales or a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Good negotiation and selling skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of  bank processes and procedures.
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities from market intelligence and make value-adding recommendations.
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with ability to lead and work under minimum supervision.
  • Business acumen.
  • Mature disposition in the handling of external stakeholders.
