JOB TITLE: ENDPOINTS AND MOBILITY OFFICER

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

REPORTS TO: MANAGER ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS

 

Job purpose:

The Job holder is responsible for Administering, supporting, and optimize all end points of hardware and software by resolving technical problems.

 

Key Responsibilities.

  • Install, configure, support, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, conferencing systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform operating system deployment, upgrades, patching, and configuration management for endpoint devices
  • Monitor endpoint performance, compliance status, and security posture.
  • Administer Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, compliance enforcement, and configuration policies.
  • Managing Windows Active directory.
  • Manage lifecycle of mobile devices including smartphones and tablets.
  • Monitor device compliance dashboards and remediate non-compliant endpoints.
  • Administer users and groups in Microsoft 365.
  • Manage mailbox provisioning and configurations in Microsoft Exchange Online.
  • Support role-based access assignments aligned with organizational security policies.
  • Support operation and administration of the IT Service Desk platform.
  • Identify recurring incidents through service desk analysis and implement preventive corrective actions
  • Monitor service requests and incident queues to ensure timely resolution within SLA targets.
  • Install and support approved enterprise applications on endpoints.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of endpoint and mobility devices.
  • Track lifecycle management including provisioning, relocation, replacement, and disposal.
  • Enforce endpoint security configuration baselines and compliance standards.
  • Diagnose hardware, OS, connectivity, and Microsoft 365 access issues.
  • Provide user guidance on endpoint usage, mobility security practices, and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Plan for maintenance/repairs/schedule service for IT Equipment and all cabling at desktops, patch panels, networking equipment and conferencing systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, conferencing equipment, and mobility devices.

 

Educational Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering or Information Technology related field.
  • Professional qualifications in Microsoft Endpoint Administration, Entra ID, Exchange Online is an added advantage.

Work experience

  • At least 2 years working experience in a commercially oriented organization, specifically in Information Technology.
