We are looking for a high-caliber Production Engineer specializing in panel furniture systems to join our team in Kampala. This role is the technical “brain” of our manufacturing process, bridging the gap between design and automated execution.
Mandatory Technical Stack:
To be successful in this role, expert-level proficiency in the following is required:
Polyboard: For structural design, hardware positioning, and automated quantity estimation.
WoodWOP: For generating and optimizing CNC programs specifically for HOMAG machinery.
Key Distinction of the Role:
Not a CNC operator: This is a technical engineering position.
✔ Engineering focus: Responsible for design, engineering, CNC preparation, and quantity calculation.
✔ Bridge to Production: Works closely with the CNC operator who executes the prepared files on machines.
✔ Automation: Ensuring outputs are fully ready for HOMAG CNC machinery with minimal manual intervention.
Candidate Profile:
Strong experience in Panel Furniture Systems (not just general carpentry).
High exposure to automated or semi-automated production environments.
Capability of bridging design, manufacturing, and costing processes.
