Stride Development Sacco is one of fast-growing financial institutions in the Rwenzori sub region. The Sacco is located on plot 4-6, Kihika road, Kisanga B cell, Nyamwamba division, Kasese municipality with members coming from the districts of Kasese, Bunyangabu, Rubirizi, Kabarole, Bundibugyo, Kampala among others. JOB TITLE: MEDICAL OFFICER
The Medical Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical careincluding diagnosis, treatment, and emergency services at Stride Community Medical Clinic, supervising other staff. Key responsibilities involve inpatient ward rounds, emergency care, maternal/child health support, and support the Stride Community Health Insurance Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Diagnosing patients, performing minor surgical procedures (within competency), and managing inpatient/outpatient care.
- Supervision: Mentoring the team to enhance staff capacity.
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate patient records and analyzing health data to detect disease outbreaks.
- Health education and promotion.
- Participation in research programs
Common Requirements and Qualifications
• Qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC), and a valid practicing license.
