Position: Medical Sales Representative – Critical Care (Kampala, Uganda)
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representatives to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting our range of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products to Doctors, Pharmacists, Clinical Officers and Nurses across both public and private healthcare facilities.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, possess strong communication and presentation skills, have a good understanding of the Ugandan healthcare landscape, and hold a valid Allied Health Professionals Council license.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Promotion and Detailing: Promote assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare products to healthcare professionals through accurate, ethical and effective communication.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to enhance product visibility and customer loyalty.
Territory Coverage and Planning: Execute regular visits to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies to ensure effective territory coverage and achievement of targets.
Market Development and Intelligence: Identify business opportunities, monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to support growth strategies.
Training and Presentations: Conduct product presentations and medical education sessions to increase awareness of the company’s products.
Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure all activities comply with Allied Health Professionals Council guidelines, company policies and ethical pharmaceutical marketing standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit timely reports on field activities, customer feedback and territory performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to support product availability, brand initiatives and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences or any medical-related field from a recognised institution.
• A background in sales or marketing will be an advantage.
• Candidates must hold a valid and current license from the from the Allied Health Professionals Council.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical promotion or related healthcare marketing, preferably with reputable pharmaceutical or healthcare companies operating in Uganda.
• Proficiency in preparing field reports, analysing sales data and using CRM or digital reporting tools to track performance and plan activities efficiently.
