Operations Officer
Location: Mbarara, Uganda
We are a fast-growing delivery and logistics company based in Mbarara, focused on providing reliable same-day and next-day delivery services to businesses, e-commerce vendors, and individuals.
As we expand our operations, we are looking for a proactive and highly organized Operations Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily delivery operations and dispatch coordination
- Monitor rider performance and ensure timely deliveries
- Manage customer communication and resolve operational issues
- Track deliveries, fuel usage, and operational expenses
- Maintain accurate records and prepare simple performance reports
- Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction standards are met
- Support growth and operational efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, Entrepreneurship, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in operations, logistics, or administration
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, reporting)
- Strong communication skills
Must be based in Mbarara or willing to relocate
