Green Hub East Africa Ltd is a pioneering e-mobility fintech company co-founded by Nexus Green and Kjaer Group/Motorcare Uganda. We are dedicated to accelerating the transition to electric mobility in Uganda through electric motorcycle financing, digital fintech solutions, and sustainable transport services.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Officer to support Green Hub’s growth across both B2C and B2B markets, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The role involves customer recruitment, corporate outreach, stakeholder engagement, and supporting marketing and communication activities.
The ideal candidate understands the Ugandan e-mobility and boda boda sector, is confident engaging with high-value B2B stakeholders, and can combine sales execution with strong communication and marketing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Identify and onboard new commercial riders onto Green Hub’s financing platform.
- Approach and engage corporate clients, delivery companies, fleet operators, and strategic partners.
- Represent Green Hub professionally during meetings, activations, and events.
- Support customer onboarding and follow-up processes.
Marketing & Communications
- Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
- Support social media and community engagement activities.
- Assist in organizing outreach campaigns, activations, and stakeholder events.
• Help strengthen Green Hub’s brand visibility and communication.
Market Insights & Reporting
- Gather customer feedback and market insights.
- Monitor competitor and industry developments within e-mobility and financing.
- Maintain records of leads, customer engagements, and sales activities.
The Ideal Candidate
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage both boda riders and corporate stakeholders professionally.
- Good understanding of Uganda’s transport and/or e-mobility sectors.
- Strong presentation and marketing material development skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently.
- Good English and Luganda skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-mobility, automotive, fintech, or startup environments.
- Experience with social media marketing and content creation.
- Existing network within transport, logistics, boda boda, or corporate sectors.
