Basket Advisory Technologies is a Kampala-based company building Uganda’s leading suite of business platforms — covering payroll compliance, FMCG distribution, produce aggregation, and SME accounting. We are growing fast and need a driven sales professional to take our products directly to decision-makers.
What You Will Be Selling
Present all four platforms. Know each product. One visit — four conversations.
Platform 01 — BASKET PAYROLL
PAYE, NSSF, casual workers, mobile money salary disbursement.
Target: Manufacturers, NGOs, hotels, schools, construction firms.
Platform 02 — TAJIRI DISTRIBUTION
Real-time FMCG route tracking, agent performance, collections.
Target: Breweries, FMCG manufacturers, logistics companies.
Platform 03 — JIRANI MARKETPLACE
Produce aggregation, off-take orders, EUDR compliance, agent payouts.
Target: Agro-exporters, NGOs, cooperatives, agro-processors.
Platform 04 — FREE TOOL — BASKET BOOKS
Invoicing, debtor reminders, P&L statements, VAT, mobile money.
Target: SMEs, consultants, NGOs — every Uganda business.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and approach manufacturers, FMCG companies, distributors, NGOs, schools, and hotels across Kampala and upcountry.
• Book product demo appointments directly with CEOs, Finance Directors, and HR Managers.
• Conduct live demonstrations of all four platforms on your own laptop at client premises.
• Follow up leads, manage a pipeline, and close subscription agreements.
• Submit weekly activity reports.
Required Experience
• Min. 2 years field sales — manufacturing, distribution, payroll, or fintech.
• Proven contacts at Uganda manufacturers, FMCG firms, or payroll decision-makers.
• Track record of booking C-suite and senior management meetings.
• Comfortable selling software to non-technical buyers.
• Strong English and Luganda — written and spoken.
NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS
– Own a working laptop (required for live demos).
– Able to travel freely: Kampala, Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu,and Mbale.
– Proof of company contacts (to be presented at interview).
– Web platform proficiency — must demo all four platforms independently.
– Available immediately.
