Master Grain Milling Uganda is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Officer to oversee our fleet operations and ensure our logistics run like a well-oiled machine.
Location: On-site, Jinja, Uganda
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management: Coordinate the daily movement, tracking, and scheduling of all company vehicles.
Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee routine servicing and emergency repairs to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
Driver Supervision: Manage a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Fuel & Cost Control: Monitor fuel consumption and maintenance costs to stay within budget.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs for vehicle history, insurance, and licensing renewals.
What We’re Looking For
Education: A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution is a must.
Experience: minor experience in fleet management or transport logistics would be a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and preventive maintenance.
Personal Traits: Excellent organisational skills, leadership ability, and a problem-solving mindset.
