SALES MANAGER
OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES
Office Location:
Lugogo bypass, Kampala, Uganda.
Reports to:
General Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FIND AND CLOSE CLIENTS
- Proactively reach out to high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and luxury travel buyers.
- Respond quickly to all inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.
- Meet monthly sales targets (room nights and revenue).
MANAGE AGENT PARTNERSHIPS
- Manage international travel agents, tour operators, and DMCs who can bring bookings.
BUILD CLIENT LOYALTY
- Offer upsells (private safaris, bush dinners, etc.) to increase order value.
- Keep in touch with repeat clients and encourage referrals.
REPORT ON RESULTS
- Submit daily sales updates and pipeline reports
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
- Number of confirmed bookings per month.
- Total revenue generated.
- Conversion rate from leads.
- Average booking value.
- Repeat and referral rates.
REQUIREMENTS (BRIEF)
- Minimum 5 years in luxury hospitality, safari, or high-end travel sales – with proven sales results.
- Fluent English (essential); additional languages (e.g., French, German, Mandarin)
are a plus. - Strong negotiation and closing skills, self-motivated and results-driven.
