SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

POSITION 1: SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy, increasing occupancy, growing corporate business, enhancing brand visibility, and maximizing revenue across all hotel services. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Identify and secure new corporate accounts, government agencies, NGOs, travel agents, tour operators, and other key business partners.
  • Promote accommodation, conference facilities, restaurants, bars, catering, health club services, laundry services, and other hotel products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and digital marketing activities.
  • Manage the hotel’s online presence, including social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate sales visits, client presentations, networking events, and familiarization tours.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, marketing budgets, and periodic performance reports.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless delivery of guest services and achievement of business objectives.
    Lead, mentor, and motivate the Sales and Marketing team to achieve departmental targets.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from a recognized institution.
  • Additional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience in Sales and Marketing within a fast-paced three-star, four-star, or five-star hotel.
  • Demonstrated success in corporate sales, business development, marketing strategy, and revenue generation.
  • Experience managing hospitality marketing campaigns and building strategic business partnerships.

Knowledge and Skills

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and prepare business reports.
  • Financial and budgeting skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
