1. Maintaining study drug management system in place including study product receipt, control and strict accountability
2. Maintaining strict accountability for receipt and disposition of all study drugs
3. Ensuring proper storage condition of study drugs
4. Monitor expiration dates of study drugs, remove from stock any expired drugs and maintain documentation of such actions
5. Conduct monthly physical inventories of study drug
6. Receiving, verifying and filling the orders for study drugs from the clinics
7. Ensuring adequate stock of study drugs at the clinic
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy files
9. Maintain a buffer drug management system including projection of need, ordering, receipt, control and strict accountability
10. Prepare a weekly work plan/work schedules
Qualifications:
DIPLOMA : Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution. Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda with a valid practising licence – Mandatory
Certifications:
GCP, Responsible Conduct of Research(RCR) or HSP certificates within the last two years – Mandatory
Skill & Experience:
Atleast 2 years experience in Study Pharmacy role – Added Advantage
Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping – Mandatory
Ability to work flexibly across multidisciplinary teams – Mandatory
