Job Requirements/Responsibilities:
  • 1. Maintaining study drug management system in place including study product receipt, control and strict accountability
  • 2. Maintaining strict accountability for receipt and disposition of all study drugs
  • 3. Ensuring proper storage condition of study drugs
  • 4. Monitor expiration dates of study drugs, remove from stock any expired drugs and maintain documentation of such actions
  • 5. Conduct monthly physical inventories of study drug
  • 6. Receiving, verifying and filling the orders for study drugs from the clinics
  • 7. Ensuring adequate stock of study drugs at the clinic
  • 8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy files
  • 9. Maintain a buffer drug management system including projection of need, ordering, receipt, control and strict accountability
  • 10. Prepare a weekly work plan/work schedules
Qualifications:
  • DIPLOMA : Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised institution. Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda with a valid practising licence – Mandatory
Certifications:
  • GCP, Responsible Conduct of Research(RCR) or HSP certificates within the last two years – Mandatory
Skill & Experience:
  • Atleast 2 years experience in Study Pharmacy role – Added Advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping – Mandatory
  • Ability to work flexibly across multidisciplinary teams – Mandatory
