JOB VACANCY:LPG & LUBRICANTS SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Nile Energy Limited is seeking a dynamic, experienced and results-driven professional to lead the growth, market development and brand visibility of its LPG and Lubricants business across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth, revenue, margins, market share and customer acquisition across Uganda.
  • Develop retail, dealer, reseller, commercial, institutional, restaurant and household LPG & Lubricants channels.
  • Prepare and implement marketing plans, promotions, activations and customer engagement campaigns.
  • Build and manage customer relationships, prospect pipelines, customer databases and lead conversion reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, market trends and recommend practical business strategies.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure product availability, timely deliveries and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, petroleum regulations, HSE requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports, and follow up on trade receivables.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve agreed KPIs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Petroleum Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development or commercial management.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience using accounting or ERP software is an added advantage.
  • Experience in LPG, Lubricants, petroleum, energy, FMCG, B2B, dealer/channel or industrial sales is preferred.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, growing customer portfolios and managing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ugandan market, customer segments, pricing, competitors and sales channels.
  • Professional sales/marketing qualification and a valid driving permit are added advantages.

Strong sales and negotiation skills; leadership and team management; customer relationship management; market analysis; commercial awareness; planning and reporting; excellent communication; integrity; professionalism; good Microsoft Office with analytical skills; and knowledge of LPG, Lubricants, safety and HSE compliance.
