Excellent Opportunity for Effective and Experienced Senior Salesperson (B2B) and General Manager
(Kampala, Uganda – July 2026)
Grace Clean Energy & Water Limitedseeks to employ an ambitious, driven, experienced, and trustworthy Senior Sales Executive and General Manager at our office in Kampala, Uganda.
Your duties and responsibilities will include selling our two product ranges, water purification systems and back-up solar power sets, to prospective customers. As a B2B company, we sell to various industry sectors such as schools and learning institutions, NGOs, businesses/offices, hotels and restaurants, farms, and medical hospitals and clinics. We are looking for someone with a strong sales track record and a genuine ability to generate revenue. The required monthly sales target is Kenyan Shillings 200k to 300k. Monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets shall be agreed in your employment contract.

Tasks and Responsibilities
· Generate new B2B sales opportunities and prepare proposals and quotations;
· Answer customers’ questions regarding product pricing, availability, product features and benefits;
· Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas. A proven, demonstrable sales track record is essential, with clear minimum expectations set for each month, quarter and year;
· Contact leads and arrange appointments to present our products to seriously interested prospective customers. Closing sales leads independently is a core part of this role, so confidence converting interest into signed business is essential.
· Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships. We work with the CRM software, VTIGER! Experience with a leading CRM software package is a definite plus;
· Assist the CEO in the development and execution of viable and effective sales and marketing strategies.
· Support team with sales training, customer service and presentation skills
o Evaluate and recommend simple CRM software for the sales team to be used by all (for example: Salesforce)
· Lead weekly team meetings to review tasks and timetable;
· Meet with each team member individually at least once a week to determine their progress and inquire about their current challenges
· Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up with customers who have submitted complaints or appear unhappy
· Support sales team members in client meetings as needed
· Oversee debt collection with the customer service representative and external accountant
· Undertake basic desktop research as required, and other tasks assigned by the CEO
· Manage and motivate a small and independent team. We only hire team members that require minimal supervision; however, support with business leads and training will be required. As GM and Senior Salesperson, you will lead from the front, setting the standard for the team by personally closing large sales orders.
· Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across our full product range — water purifiers, solar-powered systems, backup power systems, water tanks, water pumps and spare parts — with existing and prospective customers.
· Present Case Studies to fully illustrate the advantages of our products versus buying bottled water plus the added benefits of drinking clean water;
Background/Requirements
· Sales experience and an excellent track record are key. We are looking for an ambitious, motivated General Manager & Senior Salesperson who knows how to deliver results.
· University degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration is required.
· At least three years of selling experience with a successful track record. Please indicate your quarterly and annual sales achievements.
· Experience selling water purifiers, solar-powered systems and backup power systems at a B2B company is a definite plus
· Effective communication skills and excellent networking skills
o An existing network among prospective customers in our target customer groups is required and highly valued.
o Relationships with NGOs and local municipality leaders/decision-makers is a definite plus
· Fast learner and passion for sales, excellent leadership skills
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
· Strong negotiation skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Knowledge of MS Office
