Are you a creative baker experienced in high-volume production?
Hugamara Group is looking for Pastry Chefs in Kampala to prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our Central Kitchen!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and breads, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
- Support recipe development, creative dessert innovations, and dessert plating for various outlets and events.
- Maintain efficient baking schedules, monitor stock levels, and minimize wastage through proper production planning.
- Uphold strict food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards while keeping workstations clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma, or training in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts (an added advantage).
- 3+ years of experience in a professional pastry or bakery environment.
- Strong understanding of pastry production and dessert presentation; experience in high-volume hospitality or Central Kitchen setups is preferred!
