ABOUT SPEEDCOM
Speedcom Africa is a Pan African marketing, below the line consultancy firm with focused expertise in digital financial services deployment and enhancement.
THE ROLE
You run the field in your region. You set the week, you coach in the field, and you carry your region’s reactivation and retention numbers.
Your team is only as good as the roadmap you build and the coaching you give, and MTN sees your region’s performance every day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree or diploma in business, marketing or a related field.
- At least four years in field sales, with two of those leading a field team.
- Background in mobile money, telecom or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
- Able to read a performance dashboard and change the week’s plan because of what it shows.
- Valid driving licence, and willing to be based in your region and travel across it.
- A steady hand with people. You will handle discipline, attendance and queries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build the weekly roadmap for your TDR team against the targets MTN sets, and make sure every route is actually worked.
- Coach in the field. Ride along, listen to the pitch, and correct it there and then.
- Check the work before it becomes a report. Verify visits, branding photos and reactivation claims.
- Train and certify new TDRs under the cascade model, once MTN
- MoMo has trained you.
- Own the daily, weekly and monthly reporting for your region and stand behind the numbers.
- Clear escalations inside the agreed service window and keep MTN’s regional team informed.
- Carry out campaigns and merchant incentives on the ground, on time, across the whole region.
- Manage attendance, discipline and performance in your team.
